Community Guidelines
Last updated: 2026-10-18
Persony is a place to create personas and share them. These rules keep it useful and safe for everyone. They are part of the Terms of Service.
Creating personas
- Be original. Do not publish copyrighted characters (from films, books, games, cartoons) or use other people's logos and trademarks. Inspired-by is fine; copies are not.
- No real people without consent. Do not create personas that imitate a real, identifiable person — including celebrities, politicians and people you know — or that could make others believe they are talking to them.
- Be honest about what a persona is. Do not present a persona as a licensed doctor, therapist, lawyer or financial advisor, or promise cures or guaranteed results.
- Avatars follow the same rules: no real people's faces, no sexual images, no copyrighted characters.
Content that is never allowed
- Sexual content involving minors, and any sexually explicit content
- Encouragement or instructions for suicide, self-harm, eating disorders or violence
- Hate, harassment or threats against people or groups
- Content that helps commit crimes, fraud, or evade the law
- Other people's private data, or content that exposes someone without consent
- Spam, scams and misleading promotion
Sharing
- Share only what you choose. Sharing a persona never shares your chats or memories.
- When you make a persona public, others can talk to it and make their own copy. Make it private again at any time.
- If you recommend Persony in exchange for a reward, say so.
Reporting and enforcement
Report a persona or content that breaks these rules to support@persony.org with the link and the reason. We may remove content, limit sharing, or suspend accounts, and we explain our decision where the law requires. Serious illegal content may be reported to the authorities.
